How it gives elderly people independence
The internet can help elderly people because they can do
there own food shopping, play bingo and card games if they haven’t got nothing
else to do. The internet is really good for old people because you can find out
useful information like, how to cook a certain meal or what ingredients they
need. If an elderly person was hoping to get something but didn’t know how to
get it or didn’t understand it then they could simply research the name of the
product and within a matter of seconds they will understand. People consider
everyday living with a small but varied Purposive sample of people with high
support needs. Below this is some evidence to back up my answers:
·
Recognises the importance of individuality for people
with Challenging lives.
·
suggests a framework for eliciting views from
people with communication difficulties
·
presents emerging themes and identifies
implications for older people themselves, policy makers and commissioners,
practitioners and researchers
